The Chicago Daily News photograph, linked to this page, shows a similar view taken when the current bridge was under construction in 1928. The old photograph shows the swing bridge at N. Clark St. and the rolling lift bridge at N. Dearborn St. The Reid-Murdock Center built in 1914 is the building with the clock tower.
