Kite Away!
These photographs capture a recent flight over the Chicago River. Mike Illich was "flying" off the N. Dearborn St. bridge. According to Mike: "It was a beautiful windy day and the kite got up there pretty good. I entertained about 50 people and three of them flew the kite, a tourist family."
WGN aired a story on Mike on the first day of spring in 2008. The clip is shown at the bottom of this page.
