The first two photos on this page show similar views of the Main Branch of the Chicago River, looking east of the Michigan Ave. bridge (1928 - above and the current view below). The third photograph shows a view looking west from the N. Lake Shore Dr. bridge which provides an even more dramatic contrast with the top photo.
